Hello Ski Tiger families-
It's hard to believe that another great season has come to a close and the Picnic in the Snow is already upon us!
Cross Country sports will be providing hot dogs and all of the fixings. In order to make the picnic a success, we need a few things from you:
1) Three volunteers to help haul food and equipment and cook hot dogs. These folks will be needed at 10:00 a.m. SHARP (let's call it 9:55) at the M203 trailhead for Swedetown. Rick at CCS mentioned that in the past, volunteers have been late almost every year. If you are a *timely* person and still need some volunteer hours for the organization, please let Tracy Webb or Kevin Hubert know that you're available to meet Rick at 9:59 on Saturday and be ready to haul and cook. PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY.
2) Some food donations, similar to this past weekend's Tiger Games. Please bring something to pass. Think: clementines, apple slices, veggie tray, pretzels, etc... things that can be eaten without utensils. Keep in mind that what goes in must also come out, so try to keep waste/wrappers/etc. to a minimum.
3) Everyone is then invited to be at the M203 trailhead to Swedetown at 11am on this Saturday. The trailhead is about 4 miles from the intersection of US 41 in Calumet or is easily accessed from the Hancock side also.
Directions and more information can be found here: Picnic in the Snow
Thanks again for your participation. I look forward to celebrating with you on Saturday!
