Adventure Group

The Adventure Group is for skiers ages 13-18 who enjoy skiing, but aren't necessarily interested in racing on the Comp or Devo teams. This group is also a good option for a teen that wants to learn how to cross country ski - no prior ski experience necessary. The adventure group does lots of fun ski adventures such as back-country skiing, exploring trails around the Keweenaw and maybe a low key citizen race or two depending on the interests of the group. This group typically practices on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays once there is enough snow to ski. They focus on having fun on skis and will also learn to use good ski technique. They also learn how to wax their own skis for classic skiing.

Adventure Group skiers will receive a Ski Tiger jacket for use during the season and a Ski Tiger race suit if needed.

Ski Tigers has a limited supply of ski equipment for rent.
