Race Details

Part of the Wisconsin High School Nordic Ski League race calendar, this is a fun, low-key race for high school (grades 9-12*) and middle school (grades 5-8*) ages held in nearby Minoqua, WI. All races are freestyle (skate), and this event is team scored. An easy to moderate course, this race makes a great introduction to ski racing. Competition for all levels will be present, and there is team scoring for separate categories of Varsity, Junior Varsity and Middle School. Many of the other teams in this race will be at the Keweenaw Christmas Camp, too.

Coach's Recommendation: This race is appropriate and recommended for anyone who is healthy and able to attend. Please see your individual coach if you have any questions or need advice on attending this race.

Racers pack a lunch to eat during travel. Team will stop for dinner (Culvers) on return trip to Houghton. Cost is on your own.
