The CXC Youth Cup was developed in cooperation with the Minnesota Ski League and cross country ski coaches from Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan in the winter 2015 to promote health and fitness in youth across the Midwest.
Now in its second season, the CXC Youth Cup offers athletes ages 10-13 (U12 and U14 age divisions) an opportunity to experience and explore the excitement of travel, friendship, and competition associated with CXC / USSA events and races. The top 8 U14 boys and top 8 U14 girls from the final points list will be invited to participate in a Dream Camp. Anabel Needham represented Ski Tigers at the dream camp last year. Gretchen Haggenmiller is currently ranked 2nd for the U14 girls. Mike Fraley, Kora Johnson and Abigail Stone are also participating and are all in the top 20. There are close to 200 youth participating this year. Way to work hard while having fun Ski Tigers! Standings |
